Was craving a cheesesteak after watching Abbott Elementary :) I've had many a cheesesteak in Philly as an east coast native and have tried a few spots over the years since being in California. This place stands out for sure. Flavor wise it's spot on, and somehow is on the lighter side which is nice and yet still comforting. Will be back for sure!
We love coming in to pick up Philly cheese steaks to go Many of the complaints on Yelp center around the order being made wrong. We haven't encountered this when walking in and placing an order to go. Generally the food takes 5 no more than 10 mins even if there are a few orders ahead of mine As far as food quality is concerned, everything I've had tastes fresh. I have noticed that the garlic fries don't travel home well.. We live less than 8 mins away and they are always soggy by the time we get home, so for best results on fries I'd recommend dining in. For the sandwich, if you order with provolone and like a normal amount of cheese, do yourself a favor and ask for extra cheese on your philly Don't forget to grab a stamp card! After 10 sandwiches you get a free one
The best Cheesesteak I've ever had. Best Garlic Parm fries I've had too!!! Everything's made fresh to order and handed right to you in under 5 minutes. The 6" is all you need for a full meal since each sub is absolutely loaded.
This place is the perfect spot for a Philly cheesesteak! The location is small, but the staff is very attentive and friendly. We ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and of course French fries! They have soda options, so we went with sprite and root beer. We enjoyed sitting at the counter facing the window so we got some sunlight and were able to watch cars driving by. I added jalopenos to my sandwich for spice. This is a good summer spot if you're looking for a loaded tasty sandwich this season!
My go-to order: a 12" Philly Cheesesteak Combo with grilled mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and extra hot peppers. It always hits the spot!
We have been coming here for years. We always get the same thing and it's all delicious. The inside is small and only has a few tables. there is an area to sit outside. That's very limited seating as well. It's basically a counter with stools but it works just fine. We have never had a problem with parking and the staff is always nice The cheese steak sandwiches with cheese wiz are delicious and the food is always consistent. Highly recommend
Let's begin with how Hailee was amazing when she took my order. Since this was my first time here, Hailee recommended the original 12 inch cheese steak and added the onions and peppers. Soooo darn good! The biggest most delicious sandwich came out of a small Mom & Pop shop which gives a very welcoming ambiance. I will return with friends!! Thanks Hailee!!
I was wanting a Philly Cheesesteak bad... cause sometimes you just need one right :) So we went to that magical SouthBay spot where Redondo Beach, Torrance & Hermosa Beach come together LOL That's where you will find Big Mike's in a little strip mall on 190th Street. We ordered a couple of large cheesesteaks sandwiches & garlic cheese fries :) Well for two people this was a lot of food... A lot of cheesy, cheesy good food :) We almost finished it too leaving just pieces of roll & fry scraps LOL For me the Garlic Cheese Fries were the star of the show, fresh w/ lots of garlic & cheese wiz... YUM!!! Now I prefer cheese wiz for a real Philly Cheesesteak but I ordered wrong (my fault the menu is pretty clear) and got provolone. It was still delicious but next time I will definitely order mine with cheese wiz :) The shop was clean and the staff very friendly. There is plenty of seating inside and even a few tables outside. Parking is available in front with more in the rear. This is a pretty popular local spot and I'm sure you will enjoy it :)
